A scary moment Friday night for Rodney Stuckey and Detroit Piston fans.
In a game against Cleveland, Rodney Stuckey seemed to walk off the court for a timeout like any other night, but he left on stretcher. He walked towards the bench and spoke with his trainer, complaining of dizziness. Moments later he hunched over in his chair and fell in the arms of the medical staff.
Although he was concious and breathing, this is not something that should be taken lightly.
Stuckey stayed the night in Cleveland and left this morning.
A similar situation occured in 2008 with Stuckey. Stuckey missed 2 games for feeling dizzy and lightheaded.
“He’s doing well,” Pistons strength and conditioning coach Arnie Kander told The Associated Press on Saturday morning.
“It was more dramatic this time because it was on TV,” Kander said. “I think he’s going to be OK. When we talked last night, he sounded normal.”
Stuckey will take more tests upon his return to Detroit.
On a lighter note, Heather Cox felt this story was important and wanted to get it juuuust right…
