Turning Point: Both catcher Anthony Recker and designated hitter Josh Donaldson had a double in the fourth inning to put Sacramento on the board. Sacramento is now 16-18 when they were the first team to score.

Take a bow: Left-hander Josh Outman allowed just two hits on the evening, en route to a 3-2 win, his fourth consecutive this season.

Who’s hot: Michael Taylor has made his presence felt in Nashville, as the newest River Cat has had five hits in the last two games. One of his hits Monday night brought in the third run of the night, allowing Sacramento to pull out the one-run win.

Who’s not: The top-half of the order. On Monday night the River Cats’ eight hits came from Recker (batting 5th, one hit), Adrian Cardenas (6th, two), Donaldson (7th, two) and Taylor (8th, three).

Worth Noting: River Cats starter Travis Banwart earned Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week after going 1-0 with a 0.68 ERA over 13.2 innings pitched from May 9-15.

Upcoming: Tomorrow morning, River Cats RHP Guillermo Moscoso (3-2 3.13) faces Nashville Sounds RHP Josh Butler (2-2 3.90), 9:05, in Nashville.
